Are there any long Squeegee that attach to your arm so you don't accidentally drop it?
I want to clean the outside of my windows myself because I can't afford window washers. I'm on a tight budget. I have Extra Large side sliding windows. I'm a couple of stories up in an apartment building, so I don't have access to a hose or outside water and if i dropped the squeegee it would land in an area I wouldn't be able to retrieve it.
If there is no hole, however, take a drill to it. The shoestring idea is a valid one.
