My new front Load Washer will not work?

3 Months ago I asked about whether or not to replace a 19 yr old Washing Machine, since it broke and yet had never been serviced. Anyone remeber that? I went off to buy a fridgidare Front Loader, I've had it slightly less than 3 months and now that is broke, I turn it on and it just moans. It seems like it will take me more time to have someone out for repair than it did purchasing and replacing and installing the old one. I would like for it to be replaced, is that possible or do I have to settle for a repair man? Any idea what could be wrong and has anyone else had a problem with theirs? Why didn't I just keep the old one?
Yes it is under warranty, by why after 3 months is it broke? Why would one last for 19 yrs. and this one 3 months??? Is anyone else having a problem with theirs?

Isn't it still under warranty? Usually those things have at least a year warranty. I know what you mean though, you can't afford the time it's going to take to get it repaired - days and maybe weeks - and in the meantime does this mean you are going to have to go to the laundermat???? I don't think you can replace it unless it breaks a couple of times - check the lemon laws in your state. I usually buy the extended warranty (I know you're not suppose to) that way when something breaks I just call the place I bought it. Best Buy has their own "lemon" policy. I got a new washer when my 4 year old Maytag broke about three times.

edit: is the water turned on? If I turn the water off and forget to turn it on it just moans like that. We turn the water off when we are going to be gone for awhile.
