square rubber thing you put your foot on?

You know the square rubber thing you put your foot on it goes between your bindings? What is it called because mine came loose last spring and I have to get another one. Also you know those little bolts and washers that hold your bindings onto the board? Should I replace them if I have a lot of wrecks because if they shear that could be bad news.
but if the bolts on 1 binding shear and the other stays on it could break a leg.
my balance is worse when my feet are too close together.
i just have a fear of shearing things off I sheared the rudder off a sailboat in a storm when I was a boy. It clipped some rocks that were underwater I was trying to get it into the boat slip and the wind was pushing it way out of line and my uncle was drunk and screaming and cussing.

i think you're talking about a stomp pad, you shouldn't need to replace the screws but it wouldn't hurt

EDIT: if you feel that way then go ahead and replace them, they aren't that expensive to get and you may be able to get them for free at a tuning shop but i've never had problems with them shearing and i've taken a lot of bad falls in my years of riding
