i had cut thermostat wire and probably blown the fuse?
i had cut thermostat wire with a shovel,
and i guess blown a fuse, i was unable to find it in thermostat itself,
and have no idea how it looks in ac unit itself, still nothing
If the inside blower still cycles with the thermostat then the transformer is ok. Re check all wires at the place of damage and check your repair job. If the blower does not cycle then I suspect the transformer. It can be located by looking for the same colors wires inside. The transformer is usually inside the blower housing. Kill the power to the blower before you dig around.
P.S. Some transformers have an in line fuse. be sure to look for one.
