Anyone ever built a wooden Range Hood?
We are remodeling our kitchen in old world style - wooden hoods are way too expensive so we are going to build one ourselves. Any suggestions?
Have you checked Home Depot and other places? They carry oak and cherry sleeves that go over a standard range hood and they are quite inexpensive
If you are planning for an Island Hood....good luck! I will give you a site that sells them with all the dimensions you will need, but you do still need an existing liner hood and fan
With some fine plywood, some 2X2 and 1X2's and moulding, you just may make something quite lovely!
Good luck!
