Best way to clean a whirlpool duet sports stackable Washer and Dryer?
My washer, although I clean it weekly, is starting to make my towels stink really bad. Tide makes some kind of cleaning stuff to use, but it didn't work long. Bleaching doesn't help at all either. I have tried to clean the black stuff, probably mold, out of the place in front of the door, but it hardly works. What are my options to get the smell gone?
Clean your washer at least twice a month with Affresh cleaner. To get rid of the musty smell, try soaking the towels in vinegar water for overnight. Drain it the next day, then run a full laundry cycle with one cup of baking soda and your regular laundry detergent. Dry thoroughly in the sun.
