how often can my landlord inspect my apartment?
My landlord has been coming down every single month claiming to have to inspect my apartment. She nitpicks about everything, She complains about the bookshelfs I have to hold my DVD's(it is the kind that stands not the kind you put in the walls) She freaks out if she sees a piece of paper on the floor. Lately she has been complaining about my oven not being clean enough, I clean the oven every single week because I dont want to cook my family food in a dirty oven. but evidently it is not clean enough for her. I use Easy Off Heavy Duty Oven Cleaner. I am wondering legally how often can the landlord come down and look around my apartment, I know at least 1 or 2 times per year is the normal but is every single month acceptable? I am forever cleaning the apartment just so I dont have to hear her complain. She lives on the property. Thank you
