How do I stop rice clumping in the bottom of a rice cooker?
I have tried everything I can think of but rice still clumps in a one grain thick layer at the bottom of my rice cooker. How do I prevent it?
With my rice cooker, it takes about 20 minutes for it to cook the rice. The instruction book said as soon as it goes from the "Cook" cycle to the "Warm" cycle, I am to stir the rice. By doing that, nothing sticks to the bottom of the cooker. Are you doing that? It would help prevent it from clumping. Also, if you aren't using enough water for the amount of rice you are cooking, it could cause the clumping too.
