Any input on refrigerators for the garage in hot Houston, TX? I might get freezerless . Don't need Freezer.?

1. No matter what refrig you get, the single most expensive item to run in a house is a refrig, costs runs at about 800.00 per year! The older the unit is, the less efficient it is going to be. Do you really need that 2nd refrig?
2. IF any refrig is running in ambient temps higher than 90-100 degrees, it is running in a very inefficient mode! Either find a way to get outside air to the coils or it will be running full time and the compressor will have a short life span. Do you really need that 2nd refrig?
3) If you only need to use this for specific occasions, either be prepared to unplug and stuff with newspaper after drying completely (inside), and leaving door open at least 2 inches, OR if you need this on a daily basis and a larger refrig for the house will do your needs, then you are far better off buying a larger frig for the inside! IS there space? one more time....do you really need this 2nd refrig? IF it is for beer or drinks for parties, then just use a drink cooler with ice...far cheaper over time. Good luck, Goldwing
