(conservatives) Isn't the belief in a lib media conspiracy a bit of a cop out? ?
If I believe in a liberal media conspiracy, (that which schools, text books, universities, new papers, magazines and television outlets all play a part) than instead of taking information from several sources into account, wouldn't I just dismiss all bad press of a conservative as part of the supposed conspiracy?
Couldn't this create a situation in which I only see the version of reality that I wish to believe exists?
i.e. - if I believe that the world is flat and I dismiss any and all evidence disproving my theory as a conspiracy, than what would stop me from believing this theory despite any of the physical laws of nature?
Not that libs are right on all issues, but isn't there a loss of critical thought when one only trusts a limited range of sources for information?
