question about driving range golf balls?
i know they are restricted flight, but how much ? like if you hit a PW 145 normally with a range ball would it go about 125-130? just curious cuz a buddy of mine has this thing that tells you how far you hit your shot, spin rate, blah blah blah and i thought it would be a good idea to take it to the range until i remembered range balls pretty much suck

The range is a good place for working on your game, or excercising, but if you want to calibrate your bag, then you have to go somewhere with your favorite ball of choice and hit ten or twenty with each club. Or at least work with a few clubs and quesstimate 8-10 yard diff between clubs. All balls are different even good quality balls, but range balls can be anything from a rock to a superball!! hope this helps....
