how to make an adult Power Rangers Costume ?

i want to make an adult/teenager size costume.

i want to be the pink mighty morphin power ranger for a party and i was wondering if anybody knew anything that could help me like tips or ideas or directions or something.

also if anyone actually knew of a sewing pattern that would be good.
the party is in about 3 weeks. but it might like be moved and stuff so i have plenty of time.

Two quick ideas would be to buy a pink sweatsuit and spray paint the white parts on it. You would just mask off the area you don't want white and paint away. This is quick and easy.

The second idea is to go to a dance shop and get a pink leotard (the body suit kind) and paint that too.

If you don't want to paint it, you can sew felt on for the white (or any fabric you like).

I'll look for a pattern also and post that when I find a good one.

You can use this pattern for a one piece costume. I have this for my son and the hat is separate so you can do it with or without that and the gloves are separate too. You can make it with velour so it's shiny (much easier to work with than spandex - unless you are a pro!).
