OW! I burned my hand on a pan, what do I do?
I was making cookies, and I took the pan out of the oven (I had an oven mitt on, but only on one hand which I was using to hold the pan) and took them over to the counter to set it down, and I accidentally took the pan in the other un-mitted hand. I put the tray down and ran my hand under some cool water for a bit, then put some Neosporin on it and covered it with a band-aid. Now I've got an ice pack thats wrapped in a towel on my hand, but it still REALLY hurts. Should I take ibueprofin for the pain, or just leave it? Any other tips for dulling pain and fast healing? Thanks!
Also, the burn is only about a centimeter long, and just below my index finger on the palm of my left hand.
Dont go to the hospital what you are doing is fine just take the band-aid off to let it air out the exact thing happrnd to me what i did was i took an Ice Cube(well like 3) wrappted it in a towel and helld it on for like the entire night it was fine in the mornin!!
