Appliance question- where to buy a new stovetop?
I have a GE oven with 4 gas burners. Its not so old, but the stovetop casing has been tested. I would love to buy just a new covering if that's possible, but no one at Home Depot knows what to do about this and I'm not sure where to buy just that part. Why replace the whole oven/stove? And trust me I've tried cleaning it the best I can.
I would contact GE. If there was no unreasonable use of the stove, or external cause of damage, then there may be a manufacturing defect. At the very least they should be able to tell you how to effectively clean it.
