What is the size difference between a queen and a king size duvet?
I have a queen size bed but the duvet cover that I want is only available in king size. I was told that there is only a 6 inch difference between a queen and king bed. If that is true would it make a big difference if I had a king duvet on a queen size bed? Would it really look oversized?
A King sized mattress is 76" x 80".
A California king sized mattress is 72" x 84".
A Queen sized mattress is 60" x 80".
So, the length of a king and queen sized bed are the same, but there is an 18" difference in width.
As far as your duvet cover, it should say the actual size on the package. The king size will probably be too big.
