Help with my kegerator keg Fridge foamy beer and psi?
So we just got a Kegerator and a keg, half barrel. It is all hooked up, and the PSI is at 10-12 range like the directions call for. When we poor the draft, it comes out almost nothing but foam. I have seen a lot of answers for this problem, but would like some more. The keg is cold from the distributor today, the fridge says it is already 40 degrees and cooling fast, everything is hooked up right and like I said, the PSI is about 11 right now. Just big glasses of foam that disolves slowly leaving some flat beer on the bottom.
There's too much pressure in the keg!
Shut the gas off and bleed the pressure from the keg by the pull pin, near the tap. When the pour starts slowing down, turn the gas back on. And, when you pour, make sure that you open the faucet all the way.
