How to stop the Range Hood door noise during high/low winds?
I have a range hood installed using 6" ducts out to the side of the house. The door on the exterior always bangs in low and/or high winds. How can I fix this problem? Considering this is a 2nd floor house, is there a solution to fix from the inside of the house?
Its the damper that's banging there should be a light spring installed on the door it may have broken. you can make 2 holes next to each other in the door, find a very light spring attach to the door and to the hood, make sure the door opens when fan turned on if not stretch the spring a little.
