Bullet resistant vest.?
I'm trying to make a vest that looks like the Dragon Shield (The armor used by the green ranger in the original power rangers) that is made from the same bullet resistant materials used in the army. I want to be able to slide it over my head when I want to take it off but it don't want there to be a big hole in that part of the armor either. How do I make it?
your telling me what to use to make it, I want to know how to make it so that it looks like the armor worn by the green ranger.
You might want to consider trick or treating in a better neighborhood if you think you need a bullet resistant costume.

If so, even if bullet resistant it will leave a lot of vital organs unprotected. Anyway, if I were doing it, I'd attach the diamond shaped plate with Velcro, and under it, have a Velcro fastened opening so that you can either open the neck enough to get it over your head, or open it completely like a jacket. While most bullet resistant vests open at the sides so that there isn't a weak spot in front, since you have that diamond shaped piece to cover the opening you'll have a second layer of protection.
