how come my Frigidaire window air conditioner doesn't have a drain hole?
We bought this at a garage sale and I recall the man saying something about it ? My husband wants to drill holes on the bottom to allow for drainage. It ran for 24 without drainage and was nice a cold. After my hubbie drilled holes in bottom to allow drainage it doesn't seem as cool.
Window units are supposed to have a little bit of water to run efficiently. Try plugging the holes and let it run, water should be 1/4" deep.
