i have a 250V 30Amp plug question?
I am needing to buy a Window A/c that heats and cools and i found one Frigidaire Model number Fam18ER2A and it has a 230V 30AMP plug and I was wondering if that will plug in and work fine in my 250V 30A plug i have now? the plug has two long horitzontal holes and a ground hole in front, please help before i buy
As long as the pins match, yes. You have a 240 VAC, 30 Amp circuit. The 240 VAC is also called 220 VAC or anthing in the range from 220 to 250 VAC. The voltage and amps in the wiring will support this A/C unit. The plugs can easily be changed to match if they don't.
