window a/c slow fan?
small 8000 btu fak083j7v4 frigidaire window a/c. fan starts turning doesn't get up to speed bad motor or bad starter ?
found parts available for this unit just need info.what to check for. thanks.
Could be a faulty motor or the run capacitor.
There is no substitute for proper service diagnosis but if I were to guess I would try the capacitor first as they are fairly cheap.
You could take yours to an appliance shop to have it checked.
Most A/C units use a duel capacitor, one side for the compressor and one side for the fan.
