Refrigerators typically will hold food between 38 F - 45 F. The person who answered above me is not correct. The "ambient" temperature of a fridge might be 36-38F, but it won't hold food at that temperature. In restaurants, we have to keep the refrigerators set at about 38 F. to maintain the internal temp of food at 41 F.
Ice water, on the other hand, will cool a beverage to the same temperature as the ice bath. Ice baths maintain a temperature of 32 F. (the freezing point of water). It will probably get a soda down to this temp in 15-25 minutes.
If you put a room temperature soda in the fridge or freezer for 15 min? Hard to say. You would have to do a test to find out. Sorry, I won't do it for you.
