How exactly do I curl my hair with gel, a round brush, and blow dryer?

I have thick brown sort-of-long hair. Can you give me EXACT steps on how to do this? Thanks!
Sorry I wasn't specific: I don't mean scrunching, I want to achieve those huge beautiful curls!

Well first, you don't need a round brush. I usually wash my hair, once I'm done I use mousse (hate the flakes of gel, but I do know some people who use gel to achieve the look). I have a lot of thick hair, but I won't use much mousse (I like the big curly look better). In the case of gel, depending on how you want ur hair to look, don't use much since it can weight your hair down (unless thats the look you want). And I'll dry my hair with the blow dryer with a diffuser attached to it (attachment with prongs on it). I'll hang my head down and scrunch my hair to dry. I'll finish off with some kind of hair spray and a little bit of anti-frizz serum.

EDIT to your response: No gel needed...hair spray is better. Blow dry your hair straight using the round brush and blow dryer. If you have a curling iron, use that to curl your hair in sections and setting it with the spray. If you don't have a curling iron, grab some pins, curl sections up to your scalp by rolling your hair (around your finger is good) and use the pins to hold it in place. Use a really good holding spray while your hair is pinned up. Leave them in for a while and then let them loose. Finish off with spray. Depending on how big/ loose you want the curls, thats how big your sections should be and how big you'll roll them. Here's a website....it says to use rollers but you dont really need to....also, the pins that they show in the pics are the best ones to use, but any kind will do.
