whirlpool Washer-Dryer has water in drum, won't drain, won't start on any cycle?
I put on a drying cycle today but the drum filled with water, machine made some noise (like it was heating up) but it wasn't spinning. I tried to drain & rinse, then to start on another cycle, but nothing happened. The pilot light is on and the water in the drum heats up but no programme will work. I know I probably need to call the technician, but it's the weekend and I have a lot of clothes to wash in the meantime! If anyone can help?
same problem just happened to me on Tuesday and i was told my problem was either the Water Pump or Control Board- its not the control board if yours is working at all. mine wasnt doing anything. so if your control board is functioning i would say it has something to do with the water pump, since its not draining.
