Thnx Billl for your answer. I am just stressing again that I am talking abt a seelf cleaning built in Wall Oven; You are mentioning a stove. Still same answer with the circuit panel? I am assuming the panel is behind the oven controlls?
Judy , I found your first question and saw no good answers. I lost your second answer and hope you are reading both as i can't get back to the second one. There are no moving parts to an Electric Stove. Take a look in the breaker panel and you will see a breaker marked 50 or possibly 60 (Dual Ovens) on the handle. Stoves usually have just the one 50 amp breaker, Take the breaker and pull it to the right real hard. This should reset it if its tripped. Now flip it to the left, it should click and stay pointing to the left. If it does, go back and try the stove again. You say it is a Double Oven, are both not working? See if the clock or light turns on. If it does this means that the cleaning cycle on the stove is locking out the controler which controls both ovens and will have to be checked or changed. Did you look in the manual for other possible causes, or go online?. Keep asking, some one will have the right answer.
