Are these burns on my fingers from unloading the dishwasher...?
I work at a coffee house and I've been loading and unloading the dishwasher all day. The plates seem really hot to me when I take them out and I have to carry them over to the rack at the other end of the kitchen. Earlier I looked at my fingers and they'd taken on a shiny purple look, almost like brusing under the skin, and now I've left work, they're still really shiny and dark-purplish, and they sting when they come into contact with anything. Is it possible it's a burn...?
its more likely an allergic reaction, or a chemical burn.
when you load the dishwasher correct? so maby its the soap depending on what kind it is and how much you put in. its not likely a chemical burn since you have many customers who most likely use those dishes and haven't complained.
i bet its an allergy
