Problem with whirlpool accubake (sf367lxss)?
My oven will not ignite/light. However, the cooktop works perfectly fine. I had it for two years now. I have looked at the owners manual to find where I can light the igniter but there is no info. Can someone who is familiar with this model or Whirlpool please instruct me where to find it and how to light it.
I am assuming the pilot light is out but I'm aware that the igniter itself may need replacing.
Almost all new ones have an electric lighter. You don't light it.
But without putting a meter to something we can't tell you much.
You need to at least tell us if the bake igniter is glowing. But it easily could be bad.
It is located under the lower panel on the floor of the oven.
Is the broiler working? If so then it is likely the bake igniter is out.
